The Starry-Eyed Puppets have been performing original puppet entertainments for active minds of all ages since 1999. They have been regulars at Red Butte Gardens, The Children's Museum of Utah, Solitude Ski Resort, The Utah Arts Festival, Sundance Children's Festival, and numerous schools, libraries and private functions. The puppets were featured at the 2002 Winter Olympics.
!SLAPT! -- Salt Lake Adult Puppet Theatre, premiered at the Salt Lake City Public Library's Alternative Press Festival in July 2011 and has since performed at Wasatch Theatre Company's cabaret shows, which follow their regular theatrical productions.

Set-Up Requirements & Performance Costs
We are fully portable and need only a large performing space, high ceilings, a buffet table and electricity.
Please note: We do not perform outdoors or in private homes. We will happily perform for birthday parties in rec centers, church halls or other large indoor venues.
$200 per 45-50 minute performance. Each show features lively oleo acts and a main puppet event. The current !SLAPT! show, SocBeats, is offered at $150.

Puppet making workshops are also available. Price varies depending on type of puppets to be made, materials cost, and number of attendees.

The Starry-Eyed Puppets are a professional puppet theater company. Mary Anne Heider creates our one-of-a-kind puppets. George Plautz writes our original puppet plays. Matt Heider composes original music for our productions and records our soundtracks. Together they are The Three Puppeteers.
